Jean and I saw these mirrors by Spanish studio Mut Design Studio at the Salone Satellite in Milan earlier this year. Their pretty ombre colors and clever design made them one of the stand-out pieces from the show. Called Zig Zag, the mirrors are composed of lengths of mirror of varying thicknesses that are mounted onto coloured strips of wood and arranged at 45 degree angles.

Depending on the position that the Zig Zag mirrors are viewed from, various different reflections and varying proportions of mirrored and coloured surface can be seen.

The mirrors are modular so more mirrored panels can be added to create bespoke widths and lengths.
