Eleanor Bolton is a British accessory designer who recently graduated with an MA from the RCA in London. While studying, she developed a unique craft technique, coiling and hand stitching cotton rope to create both large and small-scale, lightweight, tactile structures that possess sculptural qualities.

Eleanor’s work treads a fine line between art and design, the pieces can be worn traditionally or mounted on a wall as an objet d’art.

Since completing her MA, Eleanor’s designs have been showcased in several graduate shows and exhibitions at major galleries including Saatchi Gallery, the V&A and the Electrum Gallery in London, the Museum of Arts & Design in New York, Internationale Handwerksmesse in Munich and Galerie Marzee in the Netherlands.

You can find her designs at Darkroom in London, I Find Everything in Tokyo and Artisan Social Designer in Paris.
