This little table lamp caught my eye during a studio visit with Lindsey Adelman. Introduced last year, the lamp’s simplicity is a departure from the extravagant and artful design that Adelman is known for, but the scale and material use is simply delightful.

Isoline by Tabula Rasa

We instantly fell in love with the vivid, geometric weave of Tabula Rasa‘s Isoline pattern in fiery coral brights and cool grey and purples. The brand new textiles line is the brain child of Emily Diamandis, a Briton who has been living in NY since 2007. Her background in knits include founding and running the knits department of Rag and Bone, and the Tabula Rasa textile collection, much like the fashion line, is full of luxe and style.

Ceremony tea set by Claesson Koivisto Rune for Mjolk_14

Swedish designers Mårten Claesson, Eero Koivisto and Ola Rune, known collectively as studio Claesson Koivisto Rune, have designed a beautiful little tea set for Toronto-based store Mjölk (meaning milk in Swedish and pronounced ‘Mi-yelk’). The tea set is designed as a merging of eastern and western tea and coffee cultures – a sort of Japanese tea ceremony meets Swedish Fika (a coffee and cake break). Read the rest of this entry »
