Having run for nine days and played host to over 300 exhibitions and events, the 2013 edition of the London Design Festival came to a close on Sunday. There was no shortage of design to see and we had many favourites including these new products by young Norwegian design duo Vera & Kyte.

Showing on a small stand at TENT London, these playfully postmodern geometric bookends, shelves and pedestal tables were crafted from polished black and white granite and brightly colored lacquered steel.

We liked the bold mix of clashing colour and materials not to mention the unusual styling, which, reminding us a little of a school staff room from the 1980s, featured pot plants and green velour pile carpet.
