Commissioned for the exhibition Vera Chapter Two, Metals is a series of objects by Spanish designer Tomás Alonso that are made from pieces of copper and mild steel that could have been found in the sea shore. The objects’ shapes are the result of very basic manipulations to standard industrial metal extrusions; the function is insinuated rather than dictated.
