In honour of our latest Limited edition - the Brighton necklace - we decided to ask its designer - Eleanor Bolton - to give us her top three tips for a day out in the city that inspired the design. Those who are lucky enough to visit the seaside city of Brighton in the UK, should be sure to check out the following…
1. Brighton Pier - No trip to Brighton is complete without a trip to the pier – it’s a Brighton icon! Built in 1899, this Victorian pier houses restaurants, food and drink stalls, fairground attractions and the Palace of Fun arcade.
2. Jack & Linda Mills Traditional Fish Smokers – This place is under the arches by the sea front. The fish is smoked within metres of the kiosk - you can get smoked mackerel or kippers in a bun and sit on the beach to eat.
3. The Laines - In Brighton you have to wonder the Laines, which has lots of great independent shops. My favourites are: Tribeca - A very cool boutique in the North Laines and Snoopers Paradise - an amazing place full of traders selling second hand furniture, clothing, books, ornaments…you can browse here for hours.
