Marble Connections Landscape sculpture in Bardiglio Nuvolato marble
This is the work of French designer Victoria Wilmotte, which was showcased at the ‘Talents a la carte’ section of Maison&Objet last month. Her use of aggressive angular lines, striking colour and industrial material mixes of granite, marble, glass and coated metal give her pieces a sculptural, 1980s Memphis Milano appeal, which certainly stood out amongst the other M&O exhibitors.

Victoria studied interior design at Camondo in Paris before going onto complete an MA in Design Products at the Royal Collecge of Art in London. She is fascinated with materials, industrial process and sculptural forms which act as the catalyst for her design work.
