We are currently transfixed by these absolutely beautiful floral images by Elspeth Diederix who started her botanical blog thestudiogarden when she moved into her new studio in Amsterdam two years ago.

We’ve never seen floral photography quite like this before. Taken quickly as fun experiments - a respite from her primary photography work - these studies have a dark nature to them. The blooms are not quite perfect, often dried, sliced, spliced and artfully arranged or manipulated with hand drawn patterns. Definitely one to follow.
