Following on from last year’s One Week in Japan, this is the latest high speed slide show from photographer and UI designer Mike Matas. This time he documents a roadtrip across the United States from San Francisco to New York. Every frame is beautiful.
We found these beautiful made-to-order driftwood and ceramic spoons by ceramacist Linda Fahey while browsing on Etsy. Her home studio is located in California next to a beach where she collects the driftwood used to make her collections.
These paintings by Brooklyn based artist and writer Shane McAdams may look like they are created using a rainbow of watercolours but in actual fact they are created using the humble ball point pen.
Who would have thought that such artistic imagery could be captured at abandoned amusement parks? Eerily still and quietly sad, there is something quite sinister about these forgotten parks - or perhaps that’s the just the effect of the chosen soundtracks?
