We love the pared-back design of this brass cutlery set by Japanese designer Oji Masanori of Oji & Design. Featuring elegant, diamond-shaped handles and silver plated tips, the set is made in collaboration with metal workers at Futagami in Toyama-Takaoka City.
We saw a preview of this simple and sweet trivet by Australian designer Adam Goodrum for Normann Copenhagen at Maison & Objet in September earlier this year. ECAL graduate Julie Richoz has made a series of containers made out of flat sheets of cut spring steel. The collection comprises a plate, a fruit bowl and a bread basket, all made using a process inspired by crochet and knitting.
