Originally designed in 2011 by Lausanne-based designer Tomas Kral, the Terracotta pendant and table lamps have been put into production by Spanish design brand PCM. The lamps are manufactured in the Extremadura region of Spain, an area known for its traditional terracotta jugs.

Exhibiting in the halls of Maison & Objet this year was Japan Handmade - a collaboration between six craft based companies from Kyoto and Danish design company OeO, evolving traditional crafts techniques to create new design objects.
