Kate Spade are venturing into the world of home decor with the launch of their new lifestyle brand ‘Kate Spade Saturday’, which is due to launch in March. The collection looks set to please fans of optical patterns and colour blocking with designs like this collection of striking, grid print glassware.
We spotted these wonderfully colourful knits by British designer Sarah Elwick at MADE London last week. Made in Britain from 100% highest quality Merino wool, the dazzling geometric designs are available as cushions and children’s blankets. Lightweight, warm and, perhaps best of all, machine washable.
Royal College of Art graduate and British designer Tori Murphy has launched her first ever independent textile collection, and it’s a beauty. The capsule range of 100% merino lambswool cushions and throws combine her passion for print and pattern with her desire to support manufacturing in the UK. Tori’s fabrics are woven in Lancashire, washed and finished in the Yorkshire Dales and made up into product in Nottinghamshire.
These beautiful block print wrapping papers by London-based designer Esme Winter remind us of geometric midcentury textile designs.
