Rayuela stool
Spain
Wood
These geometric stools by Spanish designer Alvaro Catalán de Ocón create a clever optical illusion that made us look twice when we saw them on show at Spazio Rossana Orlandi in Milan last month. Each stool is made up of three rhombus-shaped pieces of wood each in a different material. When joined together they create a neat little stool with a hexagon shaped top.
The stools are made by Ocón to order and available in four different finishes - Corian ® by DuPont, waxed oak, walnut and maple.
All photos are by Falkwyn de Goyeneche.
