Young Italian designer Filippo Protasoni has designed a range of bed linen with a cleverly shaded pattern that, from a distance, looks like it’s made from paper. The designs were commissioned by Italian home linen company Mirabello, who asked Protasoni, along with three other young Italian designers, to design creative bed linen that would appeal to design enthusiasts. Mission accomplished.

The resulting designs, collectively called MLab, were previewed during the Salone del Mobile in April and officially launched last month. See the complete MLab collection here.
