After a few years of etching its mark on bathrooms around the world, Kontextür has developed its first product for the world outside the loo – the first of many to come. To do this they have kicked off their partnership with New York City based designer Paul Loebach and launched the x3 Watering Can. Inspired by the bold yet minimal and functionalist aesthetic of Eastern European motorcycles - the x3 uses industrial steel to elevate the often-overlooked household watering can to an object of conspicuous utilitarian beauty.

Zig zags on pink

This spring, visitors to Habitat‘s Kings Road store in London can expect to be dazzled by a vibrant exhibition of new woven work by five graduates from Central Saint Martins.

Open until the 28th April, the Habitat Platform exhibition includes the work of Philippa Thorne of Gone Rural, Nadia-Anne Ricketts, Jane Harper, Lucie Libotte and Coralie Bonnet.

Dutch design studio Raw Color never fail to create visually stunning works of design as a result of their explorations into color. Their latest project is no exception. The Index Collection is a line of cotton tea towels made up of 3 different color series - from Monotone to Duotone through to Multi-tone.

Brass Cutlery by Oji & Design

We love the pared-back design of this brass cutlery set by Japanese designer Oji Masanori of Oji & Design. Featuring elegant, diamond-shaped handles and silver plated tips, the set is made in collaboration with metal workers at Futagami in Toyama-Takaoka City.
