Curio by De Intuïtiefabriek

Last year we featured the Scrinium desk by Dutch designers De Intuïtiefabriek, and this carefully crafted curiosity cabinet is the follow up. Just like Scrinium, ‘Curio’ provides a space to store and showcase treasured objects. Three small walnut drawers are framed with smoked glass to give a misty view of the stored items inside. The Egg Collective, made up of the Brooklyn trio Crystal Ellis, Stephanie Beamer, and Hillary Petrie, won New Designers of the Year at ICFF this spring. With designs that pays homage to vintage glamor while staying decidedly contemporary, the Egg Collective’s pieces don’t shy away from a strong point of view.
