Exhibiting as part of Tokyo-based design collective 6474 Design, Japanese designer Tetsuo Shibuya presented this smart and simple piece of wooden hallway furniture in Milan earlier this year.

Five wooden pegs slot inside the wall mounted shelf and, when tilted forwards, can be used to hang clothes, bags and other small articles.

The simple design means that the number of hooks and their spacing can be easily adjusted. When not in use, the pegs can be stacked together to create more shelf space.
