A few months ago we posted this ‘making of’ film from Wallpaper* magazine’s 2012 Handmade collection. Today we found another gem. This wallpaper produced by Cole & Son features the distinctive ‘Flora’ pattern by Gucci, which was first created as a scarf design for Grace Kelly in 1966. The design is made up of 15 colours, which requires 15 individual silkscreens; a laborious process that takes so long that the design wasn’t ready for the exhibition back in April. See the papers being produced in this beautiful film by Jamie McGregor Smith shot at Cole & Son’s printing factory.
