This weekend, I escaped New York City’s most recent blizzard to Puerto Rico for a tropical weekend getaway, and was enchanted by the vivid colors that adorned buildings all over the city of San Juan. The full spectrum of brights and the decorative geometry made for a satisfying feast for the eyes, especially for this New Yorker who has only seen shades of grey for the past four months.
