Opened this month in New York is Riverpark Farm at Alexandria Center, an urban farm located at the end of East 29th Street in Kip’s Bay. The address isn’t what makes this farm — a collaboration with celebrity chef Tom Colicchio’s restaurant Riverpark — unique. The urban farm takes advantage of the stalled construction site of the Alexandria Center for Life Science, taking lemons and making them into some good ‘ole lemonade. Read the rest of this entry »
