   My comment is for Kate MccGwire. I was searching for info. on how to burn paper and came across your experimentation with burn paper. What you did is what I am trying to figure out how to do. I want to take a ream of paper and burn it from the middle, creating am abstract. I don’t know if I need to soak the paper in water for any length of time. I figure I should use a blow torch a welder. I know I need air to blow away the burnt part as I go. I have been collecting paper for the last 5 years…and now it’s time to try to make something. I am not an artist. I am 69 yrs old and retired and hopefully can make something someone will want to buy to suppliment my income. If I have overstepped a boundry and am asking for “secrets” please just let me know.
