Lovers of simple, well made furniture will undoubtedly be fans of UK brand Another Country. With the tag line ‘Simplify your life’, Another Country launched in 2010 and have produced two furniture collections since then - the third is about to be unveiled next month at Design Junction during London Design Festival.

Their timeless style is defined as contemporary craft furniture - it has references to the craftsmanship of British Country kitchen style, Shaker, traditional Scandinavian and Japanese woodwork but delivers it in a pared back modern style. Built to last from FSC certified solid wood in the UK and Europe, these products sit as comfortably in a country cottage as they do in an urban loft.

They have collaborated with stylish international magazine and retail brand Monocle on a range of exclusive furniture and worked on interior design projects from the UK to New Zealand. One of our favourite items from the collection is the wooden stationery series by Simon Donald (above), who is also the maker behind the cute wooden animals that we posted earlier this year.
