Anyone who read the post about my trip to the mineral room at the British Museum will know that I like a nice sparkly rock or two. So these mixed media works by Taiwanese textile designer and RCA student Ya Wen Chou are right up my street.

Displayed under a series of delicate glass cloches like exotic and rare mineral samples, these mixed media pieces are the result of a series of experiments by Ya Wen that combine different materials to create pattern or 3D objects.
