It was just last week that I was toying with the idea of buying this t-shirt after unsuccessfully trying to grow a terrarium over the past year. It is a trend that has been done to death and as I discovered, plants don’t actually like being grown in an air tight jar. However just as I was about to write them off forever I discovered Lítill, a US company that sell what could be described as super deluxe-terrariums.

Meaning ‘tiny’ in Icelandic, LÍtill terrariums are the brainchild of New York based Lauren Coleman. Each design is unique and everything can be made to order, from the colour scheme of the succulents, collected objects and sand to the shape of the glass vessel.

These carefully curated landscapes come in 4 sizes and a hanging version is also available. Prices start at $200.
