These slippers, designed by Dutch designer Tjeerd Veehoven, are made entirely from the leaves of the Areca palm. Palm leaves are a great natural resource that are grown every where around the world. Their leaves are inherently tough, strong and flexible, very much like leather.

Paula Hayes‘ Living Necklaces has combined two three Lin Morris favorites: jewelry, air plants and tiny things. Tiny air plants live in this delicately woven jewelry, finding the prettiest — and teeniest — way yet to show off these self sufficient plants.
Darkroom is, without a doubt, my favourite design shop in London. With its perfectly styled interior and product offering, Darkroom blurs the boundaries between art, fashion and interiors. Every time I go there I feel inspired and wish that I could afford to buy all of its contents. I used to live around the corner and would window shop on a daily basis but now I only visit as a special weekend treat.
